Oral Discussions

English is the official language of the Congress. Posters will be on display daily.

Presenting authors are required to stand by the board during the assigned hour. Presenters should post a message on the board if they are absent for an extended period of time during the assigned sessions. No presentation may be given by an individual who is not an author on the abstract.

Posters will be on display at the Four Square Ballroom in The Curtis Hotel. Poster hanging will take place from 8:00 - 9:00 AM and poster removal in the evening following each poster session. Authors must report in person with their posters at the assigned time and date. Each poster area will be clearly identified with the poster number. Authors have to remove the posters after the poster session. Unclaimed posters will not be stored and will be discarded at the end of the Congress.

Poster Presentation Provisions

Each presenter will be assigned space on a hard standing panel on which posters will be affixed. Each poster board will host two posters. The recommended poster size is A0 (841mm width x 1,189mm height or 33.1” width × 46.8” height) and the maximum allowable poster size is 42” width and 48” height. A schematic of the hard-standing panel and a sample photo are shown below.

A sign for each panel will be provided by the Congress sponsors and will contain the abstract number. Posters will be attached to panels. Poster printing is the responsibility of the authors. Adhesive tape and/or push pins will be provided by the Congress sponsors at the Poster Service Desk close to the poster area.

Posters must contain authors' names and affiliations, the title of presentation, a brief abstract and materials such as graphs, charts, tables and photographs that are necessary to communicate effectively the research findings to the audience. Materials on posters should not be copies from pages of the typed manuscript and handwritten text is not permitted. Instead, the poster should contain enlarged text and key figures that are easy to read from a distance.

Fees for Participant include:

  • Admission to all scientific symposia;
  • Preprints and program information;
  • Opening Reception;
  • Morning and afternoon coffee/tea;
  • Three Continental Breakfasts (May 27 - 29); 
  • Three Lunches (May 27 - 29);
  • Banquet (May 28).


Your registration and payment will be confirmed in writing upon receipt of your registration and payment. Please present the confirmation letter to the registration desk when registering during the Congress.

Cancellation Policy

  1. If registration is canceled before March 22nd, 2020, no cancellation fee will be charged.
  2. The registration fee will be non-refundable if cancellation is made after March 22nd, 2020.
  3. Additional bank handling fee will be borne by participants for the refund.
